World FM Day

by | Jun 24, 2010 | Facilities Management

World FM Day is a Global FM initiative which seeks to celebrate the importance of the FM profession.  Those of you who work in FM would agree that recognition of the growth and importance of the industry is vital.  This event not only aims to raise the FM profession profile around the globe, but to promote facilities management’s ideals, not only within the profession and industry, but also among governments and the general business community.

In recognitian of this important industry initiative David O’Brien, Chairman of the IPFMA’s Facilities Sub Committee, announced that the IPFMA will be holding a FM Breakfast Seminar at the start of September, which will examine the “Challenging Role of the Facility Manager in Today’s Environment”.  Further details will be available in the near future and all IPFMA members are encouraged to attend.
