Commissioning & Handover

Commissioning and Handover is the point at which the client or the client’s agent can witness the full performance of the plant or system within its design parameters to ensure the asset or system is capable of doing what it was designed to do. In so many cases, the end user leaves the witnessing and sign off of commissioning procedures to the project team, who have no vested interest in the long term life of the asset or system being signed off.

We have always approached this process with a view to the long term maintainability of the new systems over the life of the plant.

Acacia’s technical department has acted and continues to act as part of the commissioning team to make sure the client’s expectations are met. We have the knowledge and expertise to make sure the design team and the contractor fulfils their obligations under the construction contracts.
