Condition Monitoring

Condition monitoring is an important tool in the predictive maintenance of machines. By collecting and analysing certain signals from motors, developing faults and inefficiencies can be identified and unplanned downtime can be avoided.

Our multi-sensor setup can combine sensor data measuring Heat, Vibration, Power Consumption, Air Pressure and many other types, all of which would be relevant and applicable to the monitoring of a particular asset type.

Our system monitors these different data streams and notifies our teams should any measurement go above or below a pre-set data threshold. This means your technician can respond quickly and when needed which will also greatly assist in extending the assets’ life cycle.

Technology in Facilities Management: Using technology to measure occupancy

What is occupancy data? Occupancy data is derived from occupancy analytics. Occupancy data is collected by IoT sensors that monitor and record the movement of people throughout a building. Occupancy analytics do not track individuals but assess the number of people...

Trends in Facilities Management 2022

The end of 2021 is almost here. The new year brings optimism and a desire to look forwards, not backwards. Having an idea of what to focus on or what will be important in the next 12 months. Although, we don’t have a crystal ball, we asked our teams what they think...

Building Information Modelling (BIM): What is it and why is it used in facilities management?

The intersection of technology and facilities management (FM) is becoming increasingly inevitable. Sustainability is a consistent theme in FM and the use of BIM is a way in which resources can be managed and optimised in advance. Building Information modelling (BIM)...

What are the Benefits of Facilities Management?

If the first time you notice something is when it stops working, does that mean it’s core or non-core? Some parts of the running of your organisation will probably be invisible to you until they affect you personally. This is probably because your facility manager...

Why have workers been more productive working remotely?

Working from home is working. The surprise development of mass remote working has been that there has been an increase in productivity for some workers. A survey carried out by CPL (2020) surveyed over 1,000 remote workers across Ireland and of those surveyed, 89%...

Using Sensor Technology to improve our Facilities Management services

Sensor technology has been around for many years however it is becoming more prevalent due to the improvement in sensor type, range and function. We are seeing greater client interest in adopting this technology especially during the COVID-19 pandemic as there is a...

What is Comms Room Monitoring?

With our cost-effective IoT package specifically designed for Comms Room monitoring, we check for both Temperature and Humidity fluctuations as well as Water Leaks in real-time.

IoT Revolution Around Us
