Safety Statements
Protecting you and your business
The Safety Statement represents a commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of all employees and all those impacted by the company’s operations. It should state how the employer will ensure their health and safety and state the resources necessary to maintain and review health and safety laws and standards. It must be site specific, particular to your business activities and kept up to date, to be legally compliant.

Risk assessment is an essential component of the safety statement. The Safety Statement must be based on the identification of workplace hazards and an assessment of the risks such hazards present, and detail what measures are in place to control these risks.
