Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is a proven approach to maximising the value value of an asset. It reduces the risk of costly unplanned repairs or major capital expenditure on replacement. Planned maintenance results in improved reliability and reduced life cycle costs. Often planned maintenance also fulfils the legal requirement relating to an asset e.g. fire alarm, heating systems, air conditioning.
