Section 19 of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires every employer to identify hazards in the workplace, assess the risk from these hazards and to implement appropriate control measures. It is a legal requirement to have a written risk assessment of the risks as they apply to persons exposed to them in the workplace and to ensure this assessment is kept up to date.

The 2005 Act requires that risk assessments are carried out by competent persons. At Acacia we have experienced and highly qualified health and safety consultants to carry out this work on your behalf (but in conjunction and consultation with your representatives). We will also assist you with completing all post risk assessment remedial action requirements and to communicate risk assessment information to your employees.
