COVID-19 Occupancy

With government guidelines changing on a regular basis, one thing that has been consistent is the need for social distancing. In open areas, it is easier for us to judge and be aware of distancing and comply with guidelines. However, it is not always possible to know what is on the other side of a door or indeed how many people are allowed in a certain area.

Our Max Occupancy system is easy to set up, self-contained and adaptable to changing regulations and guidelines. It consists of two elements;

  • An occupancy sensor fitted to the roof above the door, this sensor tracks the number of people entering and leaving.
  • The sensor data is fed into a wall-mounted Edge Computer/LCD display which uses pre-programmed occupancy thresholds specific to that location within the building.

Both of these elements combined together allow the display to provide a simple “Safe to Enter” or “No Entry” message to staff. Ensuring their safety and adherence to social distancing guidelines.
