Fire Protection Seminar

Eyre Massy, Associate Director -Technical Services, gave an insight into the role of the Facilities Manager at the ASFP Ireland (Association for Specialist Fire Protection) seminar. Eyre explained that fire safety is an integral part of a Facilities Manager’s responsibilities. He went on to explain that it is important to understand

  • the fire certificate application process; the construction projects management process
  • the essential information that should be in the safety file
  • the correct application of passive and active fire management solutions
