Acacia are delighted to announce that we have won two prestigious awards at the National Irish Safety Awards this year which are widely regarded as Irelands’ premier safety award. The awards are presented to organisations that have shown exceptional dedication to proactive safety management in the previous year. Consequently, winning this Category 1 award for our work in 2020 is particularly meanginful as it recognises the exceptional standards to which our teams, lead by our EH&S Department, delivered services  during the pandemic.

This is the third consecutive year that we have won the Best in Facilities Management Award and we have also won the Exceptional High Achiever Award. This award is a step higher than the Consistent High Achiever Award that we received for the last 5 years, and it recognises that we consistently achieved a high standard in health and safety management for the last 10 years.

The NISO annual safety awards 2021 recognises the role that the workplace plays in supporting a healthy workforce. Successful health and safety initiatives require dedication and commitment on the part of the business leaders, which has become an integral part of life in Acacia. Actively communicating our health and safety expectations to all members of our teams and assisting them in achieving these is how we make sure that it is consistently a priority.
