We are delighted to have been recognised by Deloitte as one of Ireland’s best managed companies in 2021. This award recognises the dedication, hard work and adaptability of all employees of Acacia. The last 18 months have been a very testing time for everyone and so this award as one of Irelands best managed companies is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of all our teams across the company.
Acacia are first time winners of this prestigious award, which was held at a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday, 8 September 2021. Entrants for the awards were evaluated on their culture, capabilities, and strategy. Acacia has been recognised as an organisation that works tirelessly to develop and continuously improve our management systems and service offerings.
As an independent facilities management company, we are dedicated to providing the best workplace experiences possible to our clients through the services that we offer. Acacia’s supply chain is a key ingredient in our success, and we recognise the significant part that our supply partners play in delivering exceptional facilities and workplace services for our clients. We have also received support from external advisors over the years (you know who you are) and from Enterprise Ireland who have assisted us with the development of our software platform Azolla Software.
David O’Brien, Managing Director said: ‘This award is a recognition of the dedication and hard work of my colleagues across all divisions within Acacia; they should be very proud of what we have achieved. I would also like to thank our clients who have supported us over the last eleven years, and in particular the last eighteen months, which have been very challenging for all sectors of the economy.’
Anya Cummins, Lead Partner for Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards Programme at Deloitte Ireland said: “This year, a record number of applications to the Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards programme were received. The quality of the applicants demonstrated the extraordinarily high-quality businesses operating across the island of Ireland today. In a relentlessly challenging year, the winning companies displayed true bravery in how they adapted to change, with many innovating and some even accelerating their plans for their businesses.”
