Acacia Enabling Positive Experiences World FM Day 2017

by | May 17, 2017 | Facilities Management

This year’s World FM Day, 17th May, marks the 9th year of World FM Day, a Global Facilities Management initiative.

World FM Day represents an opportunity for Acacia and other companies in the FM community to come together to celebrate FM.

The theme for this years event is “Enabling positive experiences”.

It emphasises facilities management’s significant role in setting and delivering positive customer experiences worldwide across multiple sectors.

When asked for his view on “Enabling positive experiences” Acacia Managing Director, David O’Brien, said “In order to exceed customer expectations, service excellence must evolve continuously. This can only be achieved by challenging ourselves and the industry to improve exponentially.  There are many exciting developments in the field of FM.  These include the development of an International FM standard ISO 41001, the use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in FM that will shape the future of FM in the coming decades.”

Acacia senior management work at the highest levels internationally to influence the development of FM.  We have nominated experts on a number of industry bodies such as TC 267 WG3 for the development of ISO 41001.  We also work closely with Industry organisations such as the SCSI, RICS and BIFM in Ireland and the UK.

Acacia will celebrate World FM Day on the 17th and continue to contribute to the development of FM across the Globe every other day of the year.

Acacia’s role in the development of FM enhances the services we deliver to our clients on a daily basis.
